These are prototype firmwares I've been working on in Max/RNBO for the Electrosmith patch.Init() Eurorack module.
VSR Delay, 2026
- BBD-style, dual-mono delay with stereo-linked controls
- Continuously variable, asynchronous sample rate from 48 kHz down to about 0.05 Hz
- Feedback up to 104%
- Fixed anti-aliasing lowpass input filter (4 kHz) with bypass switch
- Interpolating lowpass output filter tracks sample rate or control voltage (switchable)
- Fixed highpass filter (150 Hz) resists mud buildup
- Locks to even divisions/multiplications of an input clock; outputs these in turn as gates
- Dry audio envelope follower at CV and second gate outputs
- Separate 1V/oct (0-5 V) control over delay time and sample rate
- Delay buffer freezes with gates or a button on the panel; when buffer frozen, feedback dial and CV scan playback window
MMF Mimic, 2026
- 1024 bin, 2-hop FFT spectral processor mimicking multi-mode subtractive filter (low-, band- and highpass) behaviour; wavetable sampler
- Passband base frequency and width under separate knob and assignable CV control for continuous filter shaping
- Resonance under knob control; assignable to passband base or upper bound
- Crossover junction attenuates sub-350 Hz material entering spectral processing; passthrough to mono-summed, non-resonant 3-pole LPF
- 1024-sample arbitrary wavetable captured via gate; switchable with live input and voltage controllable over 5 octaves
- Spectral bitcrush under knob and CV control
- Vocoder-esque unvoiced output HF tracking; CV-controlled white noise summed with main output
- Amplitude- and brightness-reactive, vactrol-inspired envelope generator at CV output
- True stereo chain with shared parameters
